Demetri P. Sintsirmas
Attorney At Law
Personal Experience
Demetri represents businesses and individuals in business disputes and immigration matters, drawing on experience in the judiciary, government, private practice, and as in-house counsel for a multinational corporation. His unique background enables him to advise clients on both complex business litigation and the immigration issues that often accompany business growth and workforce development.
Prior to joining the firm, Demetri served as in-house litigation counsel for a 10-figure international automotive company, where he managed a diverse portfolio of North American litigation involving commercial disputes, supply chain matters, real estate issues, and other business-related claims. He partnered with business leaders to develop litigation strategy, manage outside counsel, evaluate legal risk, and resolve complex disputes.
Previously, Demetri practiced commercial litigation at both an Am Law 100 firm and a regional law firm, where he represented clients through all stages of litigation, including dispositive motion practice, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Demetri has also served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, prosecuting a broad range of violent and financial felony cases. He served as both first and second chair in jury trials and developed extensive courtroom and trial advocacy experience. He also clerked for Justice Michael P. Donnelly of the Ohio Supreme Court, where he gained valuable insight into appellate advocacy and judicial decision-making at Ohio's highest court.
Today, Demetri represents clients in employment-based immigration matters, including PERM labor certifications and employment-based immigrant visas, as well as removal defense and selected family-based immigration matters. His combination of commercial litigation and business immigration experience allows him to provide practical, strategic counsel to employers navigating legal challenges affecting both their businesses and their workforce.
Demetri received his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Cleveland State University in 2014. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at the Cleveland State University College of Law in 2019, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review and served on the Moot Court Board of Governors.
